Originally from ModsRus Video Game Blog http://ift.tt/2CeGbAh WAR Mode Is What Call Of Duty WW2 Needs! One of the most impressive aspects of the Call Of Duty WW2 on PlayStation 4 & Xbox One this past weekend was WAR mode. Activision has been really hyping his mode up and from what we played this weekend, the hype is justified. It makes multiplayer so much more fun and it actually has a kind of Overwatch feel to it in the way it is designed. So in WAR mode, you are put on either Axis or Allies. It is random, but after a battle, you switch sides. Now you can run around just killing people, but the idea of this mode is that there are different sections and each section has an objective that you need to complete. Depending on what side you are on will depend on what you need to do. For example, the Allies need to build a bridge, whereas the Axis need to stop it from happening. This part of the game is so much fun and it really does pump you up. You will have to either escort a tank or push it back. It really does feel like Overwatch and that is not a bad thing at all. WAR mode really does require you to work as a team as certain parts, the bridge, for example, are impossible if you are not all on the same page as while you are building it, you will just be picked off time and time again unless you have a couple of players watching your back.If you have been looking for a reason to once again get into or even excited about Call Of Duty again, WAR mode is it! Our mod PS4 controllers, mod Xbox One controllers and mod PC controllers! are just what you need to make sure you are ready for WAR mode in Call Of Duty WW2! Originally from ModsRus Video Game Blog http://ift.tt/2DmMdvq How About A Call Of Duty Apocalypse? From the little bit of digging that we have done and from what has been leaked in the news. It certainly seems like the 2018 Call Of Duty game is going to be set in the modern day. Of course, at this point in time, it is just a rumor, but it is one that seems to be picking up steam. It got us thinking what other settings there could be for Call Of Duty. A game heavily set during the Vietnam War seems to be the most popular one, but what about a Call Of Duty game that is really over the top? We are not talking about going to outer space like in Infinite Warfare (which we still think is a great game by the way) but a whole game that is set during the zombie apocalypse! Think about it, Zombies Mode is something that we all look forward to each year, but what if Activision stopped screwing around and told one of their developers that the next Call Of Duty game needed to be set in a wasteland where you have to find resources, use what you can for weapons and fight of hordes of the undead. Think of something like The Walking Dead, but only way more action heavy and you will have an idea of what we are getting at. Even if you took away the zombies and had a Mad Max kind of setting for a Call Of Duty game. This idea may be out there, but it is one that we feel is pretty interesting and would certainly be unlike any Call Of Duty game that we had seen before. Originally from ModsRus Video Game Blog http://ift.tt/2CZWWMq Is It Worth Getting The Call Of Duty WW2 Season Pass? With Call Of Duty WW2 being out for over a month now, some of you who purchased just the standard version of the game may be ready for something new. You have probably completed the campaign, played each multiplayer mode to death and fought on each map so many times that you know them like the back of your hand. Season passes are the done thing in games these days and while it may be easy to point at the Call Of Duty WW2 season pass and say it is Activision being greedy, we do not actually think that it is. The other day we covered how the first DLC for Call Of Duty WWII is called the Resistance Pack and it is offering a whole lot of content including new maps, a new War Mode scenario and much more. It is a great way that you can have some extra fun with this year’s Cal Of Duty game. We think that before you pass it off as just a cash grab, think about how much you like Call Of Duty WWII and if you do really like the game, what harm is there in paying a little bit more to get content throughout the next year? The season pass actually gets you four new packs (including January’s Resistance Pack) and each one is bound to feature similar content so you are actually getting quite a lot of content for your money. If you bought Call Of Duty WWII, beat the campaign, dabbled a little bit in the multiplayer and have not really touched it for a couple of weeks, the season pass is not for you. But if you still find yourself firing up the game a few times a week, maybe even daily. You will certainly feel that the Call Of Duty WWII season pass is giving you very good value for money. Originally from ModsRus Video Game Blog http://ift.tt/2kyLq3E What Is Next For Battlefield? Battlefield 1 was a monster of a hit and it is still being supported via updates to this day, it seems like all the major updates that we are getting are out of the way and Dice are cooking something big for 2018, but what could it be? There have been many rumors this week about a new Battlefield game coming in 2018, if you really dig deep, it actually sounds like two games could be in the works. The first rumor was that Battlefield Bad Company 3 was the game that would be released in 2018 and a popular YouTuber who “leaked” this information even made claims that it would have a Vietnam setting. This has been quite widely debunked since it was announced, but many people still feel that Bad Company 3 is in the works as we speak. If it is not Battlefield Bad Company 3 then what is it? Well, it does seem like the next Battlefield game could be set during World War II. COD had phenomenal success with Call Of Duty WWII so it makes sense that Dice would be interested in making a game based on this. Plus with how good Battlefield 1 was, we would love to see this current team take a crack at WWII as we are sure they would do an amazing job. No matter what kind of game we get, be it a WWII Battlefield or a return to the Bad Company series, it is almost certain that 2018 is going to see a new Battlefield game released! It was a great return to form for the series and we have not actually heard anyone who has played it really have anything negative to say about it. We all knew that it had sold well, but the amazing news is actually coming out of the UK where Call Of Duty is the number one selling game of 2017 and is the Christmas number one game, a title that Call Of Duty has held for the last 4 years in a row (yes even Infinite Warfare) and in total has held 8 times! The only games that have beaten it are Fifa 09 in 2008, Skyrim in 2011 and Fifa 14 which was released in 2013. It is a truly phenomenal run that shows no matter how much people like to make fun of the annual Call Of Duty series, that this series has some serious legs and in all honesty when it comes to iconic gaming series. Even if you are not a huge Call Of Duty fan, you have to put it up there with the likes of Mario, Sonic, Halo, Resident Evil and the other iconic games. The people at Activision must be thrilled as even though they held the top spot last year, Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare was not as well received. Call Of Duty WWII, on the other hand, has not only sold like hot cakes, it has also been very well received by gaming media and people who have actually played the game. Originally from ModsRus Video Game Blog http://ift.tt/2CFVaQn Why Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare Is One Of The Best Today we want to have a little bit of fun by looking back at one of the past COD games, Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare. For many people, this was the culmination of Black Ops and Modern Warfare. It took the series into the future, but not too far like many felt, Infinite Warfare did. Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare was released in 2014 and had Sledgehammer Games (who gave us this year's Call Of Duty WWII) at the helm. It had a fantastic story of government betrayal and it was set just far enough in the future that there were things like boost packs and some really cool weapons. The whole game had a very blockbuster movie kind of feel to it and we feel that its campaign (with an epic role for Kevin Spacey) is one of the more under appreciated in the Call Of Duty series. One of the things that makes Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare still popular to this day is multiplayer. You can even still find a game easily on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360! That is hope popular this game is. The multiplayer in Advanced Warfare is just so much fun and many of the maps are designed very cleverly where you can actually take over a whole battle if you and some teammates can take over a specific room or area of the map. It was revealed a few months ago that the people at Sledgehammer Games actually were thinking of making a sequel to Advanced Warfare 2 and to be honest with you that is something that we would really like to see.
